I have an Excel 4.0 problem I am hoping someone has a solution to: I have a database setup where I am extracting data to an extract range that is unlimited in nature. Sometimes I extract a few records and sometimes several hundred. I want to write a macro that will select the extracted data (no matter how many records are extracted) and re- define that area as the print area. My question is how do I "get" the extract range, so I can select it and define the print area? Is there functions or macro commands that will allow me to do this? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. --------------------- Stu D. You can then hit the set print area tool. There is a tool that does that control shift 8 command it looks like a black bullet with arrows going away from center to top right, top left, bottom right and bottom left.
