has anyone found problems with out of memory diagnostics when trying
to load qpro for windows - this is with 615k base memory free, on a
386DX with 4MB & ~8MB windows swapspace?

got me beat!! ;-)

Nope, never seen that.  You _are_ running enhanced mode windows, right?
What the actual error message?
