Hi Wingzers, I'm a beginer on Wingz 1.1 and I'd like to know if it provides a way to save its graphics (and only the graphics) in ps format. Thanks in advance, -- Pierre BERLANDIER email: berlandi@sophia.inria.fr smail: SECOIA Project, INRIA, B.P. 93, F-06902 Sophia Antipolis

As far as I know it DOES NOT! I installed a printer queue "file" whose filter is a shell script saving everything coming in into a file. Andi -- Andreas Loesch Phone : (+49 89)3209 4086 Univ. I believe the latest UNIX version DOES allow you to save to a PostScript file. ANY Mac or MS Windows version should do, since this ability is built into these systems for all applications that can print (and use the standard print dialog). Jess Holle

Yes, you can.
Select your graphic then, in File menu, select Save selection.
You can save in text, EPS or EPSI. EPS is sharper than EPSI because it
is drawn at 300dpi, whereas EPSI is drawn at 72dpi !!. But EPSI
includes a bit image (for preview) of the graphic.
My advice: save in EPS then apply pstoepsi if you want to have a
preview image (useful if you include it into a FrameMaker document).

Please tell us which version/machine? I tried it on our MIPS workstation under RISCos 4.51 and Wingz 1.1a and it DOES NOT work! Andi -- Andreas Loesch Phone : (+49 89)3209 4086 Univ.
