MCP2120 - WIRELESS PHONE (INTERNAL MODEM)

Hello

My Nokia WIRELESS PHONE has an internal hayes modem and an IR interface.

Is it possible to send Hayes command to internal modem using the MCP2120 chip? 

I have used today a cable for send Hayes command, but i want to replace it by IRDA.
