I got an e-mail message from the Adaptec EZ-SCSI Engineering Manager, Mr. M. Berhan, who informed me of the current status of charging for SCSI drive support in Colorado Backup for Windows-95 v1.0. The current plan is for CMS and HP customers to get free upgrades to Colorado Backup for Windows-95, which includes SCSI drive support as well as support for the T1000, and Jumbo 1400 and all CMS floppy controller boards. Owners of non-CMS/HP SCSI drives must purchase EZ-SCSI 4.0 from Adaptec, and then compatible backup software then must be purchased separately.
