The summer school on Hardware/Software Codesign presents some
of the emerging techniques and tools that allow designers to
develop and analyze a design without committing to a particular
technology for realizing the design. The decision about what parts
to realize in hardware and what parts to realize in software may
then be postponed to a very late stage of the design. 

A handful of the leading researchers in this new area will lecture
and participate in discussions during the week long summer school.

The main goal of the summer school is to stimulate the development
of teaching material for university courses on hardware/software codesign.
This is done by offering a 1 week intensive course oriented towards Ph.D.
students and professors planning to teach courses on codesign.
