I am very glad that I upgraded to Logitech FotoTouch software ($79),
because it supports the scanner much better and runs under Win 3.1 and
is much, much more flexible in its options and uses.  I suggest you do
the same.  To my knowledge, Logitech is not supporting WScan anymore.

You might just need to make more memory available for the DOS Scan
program; I don't know because I don't use it anymore.  FotoTouch is
wonderful.  :)
