Hello!

This is a tricky one...I am looking for, preferably but not necessarily
shareware, communications software that:

MUST OFFER:
-----------
- SUPPORT FOR BOTH ASYNCH AND DEC-LAT COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS. **
- SUPPORT FOR BOTH 80 AND 132 (TRUE) COLUMN SCREENS ON A VGA SCREEN. **

Would Also Like:
----------------
- This should ideally be a Windows 3.x application.
- Offers decent file transfer facilities.

Any information would be greatly appreciated, I am finding this out as a
favour to my place of employment. Please reply via e-mail to preserve
bandwidth.

Thanks in advance!

Contact KEA Systems, their Windows VT320 emulator does all of the above.
I don't have an address handy, but I know they're in Canada (Toronto?)

Good Luck

PS. KEA Systems writes Kick-butt terminal emulators. I don't work for
them, so I don't get paid to say that!

Shawn

Most of the commercial comms packages for MS Windows, including Procomm Plus
for Windows, will do what you want. Procomm allows you to choose the font
(within limits) and the point size for the terminal screen.

how about freeware?

why not try Kermit

it can do 80/132 col, as many lines as you can display, comes with a
.pif for running under windows, emulates vt52 to vt320 (plus others),
has a powerful script language, uses all new features of kermit
protocol (not minimal kermit that most other comm packages (including
commercial) use), and the price is right!
