Here's a batch of new files Justin Sullivan (justin@mik.uky.edu) and
Jon Brecher (brecher@husc.harvard.edu) have added to mac.archive in
the past week or so.  I was a little slow in posting this list as I 
got tied up in a evil, unfun project for Operating Systems class... We have
a bunch of new archivists helping:  Robert Blackmun, Joel Noble, Matt Elliott, 
Paul Southworth, Hubert Chen, and two or three more that I have to 
get back to as soon as I get a chance.  So things should be speeding
up considerably, soon....

I've created a new mail alias that you can send questions to:
"mac-questions@mac.archive.umich.edu".  If you have comments
or suggestions, please continue to send them to 
"comments@mac.archive.umich.edu".  And if you want to be on
our frequent ftp'ers list (which consists solely of these
new files announcements), send a message to 
"mac-recent-request@mac.archive.umich.edu" (tell your
friends on UUCP or Bitnet that they can access mac.archive
via a mailserver and that they should be on our frequent ftp'ers
list if they can't get to UseNet!)

   An interesting new scientific calculator (application). Instead of
   pressing buttons to get results, you program it with expressions in

   A public domain color-Tetris type game.
   Much snazzier then the earlier (two-year old) incarnation.
   Good color, good sound and two player side-by-side fun.
   Customizable and informative (such as a little bar at the bottom to
   show you where your pieces will hit). In my opinion, a nice refinement
   on the commercial version.

   Astronomical image analysis program that reads a FITS file and 
   performs operations like logarithms, arithmetic, median, blinking,

   entitled to a copy of version 2.0, which will include fancy things
   like convolution and contour and surface plots.

   enhancements.  Holding down option key while dumping files into
   trash instantly deletes those files, optimizes process manager
   memory handling so copies go faster, document linking, make alias
   command, resolve aliases, etc. Very handy..
   Version 1.5.4 excludes Balloon Help (the author was in a rush) but
   includes more handy features (like a functional equivelant of Helium
   Pro).
