I've finally found time to actually process all of the files which were
uploaded to tsx-11.mit.edu. My apologies for the delay; I've been
really swamped at work. Thank you all for your patience.

I've noticed that some of the directories on TSX-11 have been getting
really long and bloated, and many of them need pruning. Thus, I've
started reorganizing some of the files in {sources,binaries}/usr.bin to
make it a little bit easier to find things.

Hopefully, someone will produce and maintain a complete source tree of
all of the useful programs that we'd expect in a Unix system, and
regularily compile them all into a binary distribution as well. (Hint,
hint). Then, most of what's in the sources and binaries directories
will be obsolete, except for when people have new programs or updated
programs which haven't made the release cycle yet.

~ftp/pub/linux/{sources,binaries}/faith_FSF/*
This directory contains all of the files which Rik Faith
(faith@cs.unc.edu) has uploaded to TSX-11. Since he's done
such a wondeful job compiling many of FSF's packages,
(including a wondeful README describing all of the files and
what they do) I decided put them in their own directory, instead
of mixing it up with the rest of usr.bin directories. With a
few exceptions, he's compiled most of the recent FSF programs on
	TSX-11. Thanks!!!

~ftp/pub/linux/binaries/emacs-18.58/X11emacs-shared-2.2.2.2.tar.Z
	Uploaded by Rick Sladkey (jrs@world.std.com)

Rick Sladkey has once again done a yeoman's job of compiling
emacs 18.58. This version uses shared libraries (GCC 2.2.2) and
	has extfs/dosfs compatible directory handling.
	See ~ftp/pub/linux/binaries/emacs-18.58/FAQ.emacs for more
	details.

~ftp/pub/linux/sources/system/gettyps202.tar.Z
~ftp/pub/linux/sources/system/gettyps-patch.tar.Z
	Uploaded by: Steve Robbins (steve@hep.Physics.McGill.CA)
	"A few weeks back I uploaded a getty/uugetty replacement, getty_ps.
I uploaded a new version tonight: gettyps202.tar.Z, mostly bugfixes.

"I'm calling it version 2.0.2 because its my second linux release
	of Paul Sutcliffe's 2.0 release."

gettyps-patch.tar.Z contains the descriptions and diffs made to
portPaul Sutcliff's 2.0 release to Linux.

~ftp/pub/linux/{sources,binaries}/usr.bin/bpe.tar.Z
	Uploaded by Bill Davidsen (davidsen@ariel.crd.ge.com)

BPE is a Binary Patch Editor. It displays in hex and text, allows
searching in hex or text, patching in hex or text, and is generally
simple and easy to use. It doesn't claim to be a complex tool, but the
features present work. It allows files of any size, has some online
help and a man page (bpe.1.1c is current).

~ftp/pub/linux/{sources,binaries}/usr.bin/Communications/minicom.tar.Z

 	Uploaded by Joe Waters (jwaters@math.unm.edu)

Minicom is a modem package, with a dailing directory and zmodem
recover. Minicom originally was a Minix program, which ported
	to Linux by Joe Waters.

~ftp/pub/linux/binaries/usr.bin/Communications/rzsz3.14.tar.Z
	Uploaded by Chris Maxwell (maxwell@ug.cs.dal.ca)

Binaries for RZ and SZ zmodem protocol drivers. Version 3.14,
compiled with GCC 2.2.2, under Linux 0.96cp0. Apparently not
the latest version, but reasonably recent.

~ftp/pub/linux/binaries/usr.bin.X11/xless-1.1.tar.Z

Unix system, *not* on your Linux system.

~ftp/pub/linux/binaries/usr.bin.X11/unclutter.tar.Z
Uploaded by Muhammad M. Saggaf (alsaggaf@Athena.MIT.EDU)

Removes idle cursor image from screen. Dynamically linked with
	the gcc 2.2.2 and X11 v1.1 libraries.

~ftp/pub/linux/{sources,binaries}/usr.bin/Archivers/zoo.tar.Z
