When I first saw these figures I found them hard to swallow.

I'm also stowing a full feed.  I'm using c-news, newsrun every 10 minutes,
sendbatches hourly, uucico varies from system to system as needed, and
expiring daily.  Load average typically less than 1%.

A Pentium P-60 with highspeed I/O cards, fast ide & scsi drives, 16 mb ram,
and 16 mb swap equates to narry a burp!
