Is anyone using a ZoomFax VFP V.32bis 14.4kbps modem to connect to a Telebit
modem for uucp/uucico automated mail transfers?  I just purchased this modem,
and while it appears to be making a clean 14.4kbps connection the transfer
rates still appear to be about the same as the older (no-name clone) 2400
baud modem I was using.

If anyone is using this modem, I'd appreciate help with your Waffle static,
dialers, and other configuration files especially with regards to modem
initialization strings.  Responses via private email would be best, as I'm
often too swamped to read comp.bbs.waffle for days at a time.
