Greetings; I have a nuber of issues that I am trying to deal with. I am hopeful that there are some of you that can assist me with these issues. First off what I currently have is Waffle 1.65 running on a DOS based 386, I am using WafPeg as a UDG for Pegasus which is installed on a Novell 3.12 network. this arrangement has been working quite well for well over a year. I have a need for additional functionality and am hoping to move the Waffle onto a WindowsNT Server v3.51 machine which will also be running other processes unrelated to Waffle. I came across FXUUCICO32 which looks as though it would be ideal, allowing me to connect to my UUCP account via TCP (The WinNT is running TCP/IP on the network where an ISDN router will route TCP to my ISP). In an effort to try FXUUCICO32 out I installed the file in my waffle\bin directory, set the waffle environment variable in a dos window (as well as a modified path statement which pointed to waffle\bin) and attempted to connect to my ISP via the modem (which is verified to work using the original UUCICO.EXE file that comes with Waffle). FXUUCICO32 tells me that there is no device on COM 2 with a Device not found error. I even tried using UUCICO32 with a '-f 2' switch to point it to COM2 with no sucess. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Assuming I get FXUUCICO32 working with the Analog Modem on COM2 of my WinNT machine I would like to connect to my ISP via the TCP mode of FXUUCICO32 but I have been unsucessful in that endeavor as well. I would want to connect to my ISP via TCP (the ISP account is already set up I am told) and also connect to my sub-domains via the original modem. Any thoughts on what changes to what configuration files I need to make are certainly welcome -- so far any attempts at the TCP mode have been total failures and I must admit I haven't a clue. Additionally: What I would like to do is to run Waffle as a service (is that possible?) on the NT machine, how would that be done? I want to eventually switch everything out so that I am using FXUUCICO32 with MASTGATE which would feed MERCURY which would feed Pegasus Mail. At least that is my dream (which is getting frustrated at the most basic level right now). If anyone is using this sort of configuration I would also sincerely appreciate any assistance that they may offer. Hi Mike, You need SRVANY.EXE from the NT Resource Toolkit or from the MS home page. It works on my system without any problems - even in conjunction with FX UUCICO. Maybe you should as Jorge himself?
