Shocker 2 and all the Hintzen, Verwohlt games were among the
best,if you liked Oxyd then this is what you want.Don't mind that it's 1997
and these games came out in 1993-94,that's irrelevant.Just get Shocker 2!
The only drawback is it runs in Monochrome only, but the gameplay has such
incredible depth that you wont care after a few levels. Just use a mono
emulator if you have a color monitor.
I just thought I would enter this into peoples consciousnesses (sp?)
because I truly appreciate gifted, creative game designers like these
guys. And with all the crap that roars down the pike these days on all
computer platforms we need all the help we can get.
Show these guys that they matter, order their games please! No,I am
not affiliated with them in any way.You can tell because I am not writing
in broken English :) . And yes,I do own a PC,and play all the newest titles
on thePC,N64, Playstation and Saturn regularly,my neighbor reviews them for
a magazine and gets free copies all the time,I get them from him when he
has an extra. It's mostly all technically astounding crap,it really makes me
sad sometimes, what a waste of technology.(Mario 64 is kind of
cool,though.Just *kind of*)
Lets keep all these great game creators encouraged! It's worth it!

Don't think,just *do* it!
p.s. Jeff Minter (Tempest 2000,Llamatron) and Meinolf Schneider (Oxyd,Bolo)
are two more people that seem to know how to make *real* games.
