2.9 problems

I've recently undertaken the task of trying to bring up the seismo
version of 2.9 (converting over from the original distribution). I get the
system to come up, but when in multi-user mode, after a short while, I begin
to get "out of swap" errors left and right. I've applied patches 1-16, and
a few unnumbered ones, but none seem to relate to this problem. I vaguely
recall some discussion about this a while back, but don't recall if anything
was resolved.
As a side note, I have a set of RL02 emulating drives (IOMEGA bernoulli
box with TD systems controller). When the system tried to auto-configure
these, it hangs. Removing the dtab entry allows me to boot and use them.
Anyone else have this problem?

	Many thanks,
	Bob Ankeney tektronix!reed!omsi
