ftp bug

I have recently logged a call with Sun regarding a bug I have found in their version
of ftp (under SunOS 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 and probably others). Not having access to the
4.X BSD sources, I'm unsure as to whether this bug also appears in the BSD version.

You can repeat the problem as follows (make sure you do this as indicated below,
otherwise you may overwrite a file):

	% mkdir xxx
	% cd xxx
	% touch a b
	% ftp anyhost
	<enter any username and password>
	230 User foo logged in.
	ftp> ls snurf *
	Segmentation fault (core dumped)
	%

Would someone that has access to a BSD version of ftp be able to check this for me?
If it appears that there is a problem, let me know and I'll post the patch.

This seem an odd thing to want to do. The * is taken as the local name for the
file in which to write the directory. I guess you ment to type snurf*

On our Solbourne 5e/905 running their version of 'SUN-OS 4.1.1' the program
runs and writes the listing to the first file that matches.
