Hi, I am trying to implement a model of distributed database with concurrency features on the UNIX platform. My model consists of Transaction Manager, Comm. Manager, Lock Manager, Disk Manager and a client process on each site. Being a novice in system programming (interprocess comm., multi- process communication etc.), can anyone offer me help/recommendation on the implementation issues or show me a model for reference?
