This question was posed to me by one of our users.

  1. If a number of users access a multi-user version of dBASEIV on a 
     file server and each user is provided with a user-view by the
     system administrator, then the userthe users querying the database
     through their views would only be receiving a subset of the total
     records from the file server. Isn't this ct this client server?

     I do not think dBASEIV would copy the whole file down to every 
     user and then process the query.

  Could someone enlighten me on this.
