My company is in dire need of a user friendly reporting system that can read the Btrieve file format. Here's a little background detail. We are using the Macola Progression manufacturing, distribution and accounting system running on a Novell Netware 3.12 network. Macola is an MS-DOS program that uses the Btrieve 6.0 database file format. Every workstation in our company is running MS Windows 3.1. My users are frustrated because they cannot quickly create their own reports from the system. The ultimate solution would be a Windows based program that provided views that are understandable to users who have no database knowledge. We are looking at IQ Software's Intelligent Query version 5 for Windows, but it is expensive. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Bill Christie
