I am currently writing an article that investigates relational databases and
graphical front ends to relational databases.

In the process I have stumbled across the client-server model as one mode of
implementing such an configuration.

Does any specification for translating an SQL view into a graph, gantt chart,
organigram or any other graphical representation exist?

I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with this.
