We are looking to convert our general ledger system from our mainframe to a 
client-server system.  Our server would be a VAX 7000 or Alpha machine 
running VMS.  Clients would primarily be running Windows.  Would consider
modifying our requirements if our accounting needs are met.        

We are a research and development division specializing in project cost
accounting. (Similar to a manufacturing division which does job cost 
accounting.)

I am looking for software packages, vendors, addresses, phone numbers,
information, evaluations, recommendations, or whatever you can supply.
