Here is another hint, which might give you headache, because it is in
German:
Walter Volpert has developed a method called Kontrastive Aufgabenanalyse
(KABA). Approx. engl: Contrasting task analysis. 
The method centers on disturbance/intervention into the task-solving
process by outer influences.

He and his assistant Heiner Dunkel have applied it in the evalu-
ation of banking and insurance office communication.
