Behavioural models

I have a bit of a problem and I was wondering if someone might be able to
help, or point me in the right direction. I orginally posted this request in
another news group (so apologies if you are reading it for the 2nd time)
but someone kindly suggested that I might get a better response from this one.

The work I am doing involves developing a Co-operative Intelligent
Assistant using Expert System technology. Basically I am interested in
computer/human co-operation and how this can be improved, rather than
computer/computer co-operation (eg. co-operating expert systems)

I have heard the term `behavioural models' mentioned and wondered if
anyone knows anything about this. I was told that the master/slave model and
the tutor/tutee model were both behavioural models - but apart from this
I don't know any more. I would like to see how these models fit in with my
work - ie to try to classify what type of model I am (or think) I am using.

I have done a search using `Behavioural Model' as keywords but the references
it has given me seem a bit unrelated to computing. I was wondering if anyone
has come across this term before - or could point me in the right
direction. My principle worry is that I am going to get into the depths
(possibly never to emerge !) of behavoural psychology, so I really want to
interpret this in computer science terms - ie. what are these models in
computer science terms ?

Hoping you can help

Bye for now...
