I'm not sure I'm familiar with the term 'behavioral models' but I do know something
about human-computer cooperation. You might find the following bibliography useful:

Woods, D., Johannesen, L. and Potter, S. (1991) `Human Interaction with Intelligent
Systems: An Overview and Bibliography.' SIGART Bulletin (ACM) Vol 2 (5).

An important paper listed in the bibliography that you might want to
start with is:

Roth, E., Bennett, K. and Woods, D. (1987) Human interaction with an
`intelligent' machine. International Journal of Man Machine Studies. 27: 479-525.

(p.s. I thought I'd respond to the newsgroup because this might be informative to
to others as well. If anyone knows of any recent research on this topic that
they're excited about and is missing from the bibliography, please let me
know. Thanks!)
