I received an s804 during the precompile step.
IEA705I ERROR DURING GETMAIN SYS CODE = 804-10
The systems programmer trapped the abend which showed that it had 8828K
below the 16k line when it abended. This is natural code (I have very little
expeience), and the practice is to "pull" all of the programs together and run
them through a prep step which converts to assembler, the assembler is then
fed to the precompiler which creates one DBRM (4761 different sql statements)
to be bound to one plan.
We are attempting to get around this by pulling subsets, and then binding them
together under one plan.

Has anyone else run into a getmain problem in the precompile step.

Dave
