HELP!!!!!

I have a table, which is worked on in a multi-user environment. However,
something's gone wrong somewhere, and a number of records have become
locked - even though no-one has them open. Repairing the database doesn't
solve the problem, and compacting it brings up errors saying that someone
else is using the records.

I've tried exporting the table to another file, and then reimporting it - I
can't do that, since 'someone else' is using it.

Is there any way anyone can think of to solve the problem - is there
something which will reset all the record locks on a table??
