Hello,

i am using bcb 4.0 and i would like to connect my program to
a ms-access97 database in local.
i have put a TDatabase and a TQuery  component on a form
i encountered two problems:
how to indicate the path of the database and link the query instance to the
database
and secondly the database engine asks me the login and password for
accessing.

could anyone help me?

The best place to get this info would be in the Borland Forums
(forums.borland.com) where this type of question is answered on a
regular basis.  In particular, check out the
borland.public.cppbuilder.database newsgroup.
