Cloud anyone please help me with the following ? - May be you can give me some guidelines- I want to use a (Multirecord) SelectionQueryresult as input for an (Multirecord)-Input-Subform It must be the result of an afterupdate action. My problem now is that the subform is already configured (and also must be configured as) a multicombobox multirecords-input-subform. So, I want to create a subform with both, comboboxes (per record) and a selectionqueryresult as inputdevice. Thanks in advance, Jaap

Hi, You cannot have a continuous form with a combo box in each record AND with an individual list for each record. At most, you will get a common list for all the records and that may screw up your (sub-)form logic. Instead, try to put that kind of combo box in the footer of the (sub-)form. You will get only one combo box that you can refresh in the onCurrentEvent (and elsewhere as required), or, I recommand, in the GotFocus event of that combo box: compute the required RowSOurce and compare that required row soruce with the actual one; if they are both equal, do nothing, if they differ, assign with the new rowsource property with the required one and then (and only then) requery the control (the idea is to avoid requiring the combo box if the user IS NOT interested in the list; the user is interested in the list ONLY if the combo box get the focus) Hope it may help, Vanderghast, Access MVP Jaap Dunnebier wrote in message <903459587.11393.0.rover.c3adea57@news.demon.nl>... >Cloud anyone please help me with the following ? >- May be you can give me some guidelines- > >I want to use a (Multirecord) SelectionQueryresult as input for an >(Multirecord)-Input-Subform >It must be the result of an afterupdate action. > >My problem now is that the subform is already configured (and also must be >configured as) >a multicombobox multirecords-input-subform. > >So, I want to create a subform with both, comboboxes (per record) and a >selectionqueryresult as inputdevice. > >Thanks in advance, > >Jaap > >
