Please HELP, MSAccess keeps bombing!!!!

I've recently installed MSOffice 95 Professional. Whenever I attempt to open
a database (including Northwind) in Access I get the following error which
forces me to close the program.
	MSAccess caused an invalid page fault in
	module MSAccess.exe at 0137:5005bd06.

I ran the debugger and found the line where Access stopped (marked by the
asterisk).

  5005bd04   mov       eax,dword ptr [esi]
* 5005bd06   and       word ptr [eax+30],fffd
  5005bd0c   mov       eax,dword ptr [esp+10]

Access 2.0 was on my machine when I installed Office 95 Pro, but the
installation program removed it.

I uninstalled Access and then reinstalled it without any positive result.

Any help would be appreciated.
