Hi, We are using Access2.0. I have created a database that controls multiple documents of our company. They where all created in Word or Excel. There is also a form that makes it possible to search for certain documents. Now, here is the problem, they asked me to display a little thumbnail or preview of the document in the record that is currently active. The record contains the directory and filename where the document is stored. I tried serveral things: 1. Create a bound OLE field and link the corresponding document. BUT then the database is becoming to big because double information is being stored. (OLE + DIR&FILENAME) 2. Insert an unbound OLE object in the form where the source automatically is being updated to the DIR&FILENAME when the "ON_CURRENT" event occurs. BUT i didn't find a way to change the source of an unbound OLE object on a form. Is there anybody out there, that has the same problem, OR EVEN BETTER A SOLUTION, Please let me know at bor.ber.eng@pophost.eunet.be or in this newsgroup Tnx alot, BOELEN Werner Borealis Engineering Beringen BELGIUM
