when the following is in my .idc file:
   sp_theproc @idc,'%p0%','%d0%','%s0%','%h0%','%q0%'

the sp_theproc procedure works fine.  If however the above string is 
placed the variable @cmd and I do:

exec(@cmd)

I get 'function sequence error'

Any idea what's going on there and how I can use the string/execute 
method to call this function?
