You might already know this, but the SQL Enterprise Manager itself is web-enabled (has been since 6.5) - you can just set it up to connect over TCP/IP and it can actually do the job. A common problem with this, though, is that it tends to work slowly when the server has many databases or many objects in an individual database so this might only be a good choice if you've got plenty of bandwidth. The Query Analyser works quite well over the web - quite a bit more efficient than EM actually. To set either SQL EM or SQL QA up to work over the web, you just configure a client network library alias to work over TCP/IP and connect to that aliased server. Another option you might consider is to use Terminal Services which will let you do quite a bit more than EM or QA (or any other web interface you develop) will. It's also possible to create an ASP or remote app to do specific things via the SQL-DMO distributed programming API if you're interested in doing some (fairly simple) programming. Maybe someone will chip in with a nice set of ASP scripts for you yet though.. <g> Regards, Greg Linwood "^-^" <tjoppie@inetonline.co.za> wrote in message news:b831oi$7m0$1@ctb-nnrp2.saix.net... > Hi there... > Is it possible to have a "web admin" feature in sql server?
