I'm new to this ODBC (and SQL) business so be gentle ... Regarding the ODBC text driver supplied with MSVC 2.0 Anybody use this? I have tried to set up a data source but the "Define Format..." button stays grayed out and I can't get the description to stay. Anybody familiar with this driver and / or know what kind of stupid mistake I've commited? By the way, I'm running it under win95. Thanks in advance, Dennis

You have to select a dictionary, either the checkbox "current" or, which is I use, select a file using the resp. button. (I have a German version under WfW, so I do not know the button names). -- Rainer Glaschick Siemens AG, Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz (Patente) 33094 Paderborn, Postfach The above message is Tel. +49 5251 8-24662 Fax -24669 entirely private Email: glaschick.kd@sni.de
