Hi there....
This is a bit of background of my database:
I have a table called dc_machinehours_MAIN which captures machine working
hours...(SQL server) this is how the layout of the table looks:
Columns:
Machine_Name, Date_Stamp, Hr23, Operator_Name_23, Hr00, Operator_Name_00,
Hr01, Operator_Name_01, Hr02, Operator_Name_02,
Operator_Name_03, Hr03, Hr04, Operator_Name_04, Hr05,
Operator_Name_05, Hr06, Hr07, Operator_Name_07, Hr08, Operator_Name_08,
Hr09,
Operator_Name_09, Hr10, Operator_Name_10, Hr11,
Operator_Name_11, Hr12, Operator_Name_12, Hr13, Hr14, Operator_Name_14,
Hr15,
Operator_Name_13, Hr16, Operator_Name_15,
Operator_Name_16, Hr17, Operator_Name_17, Hr18, Operator_Name_18, Hr19,
Operator_Name_19,
Hr20, Operator_Name_20, Hr21, Operator_Name_21, Hr22
an append query pastes all the machine names into the form so that your form
looks like an excel sheet kind of way when the capturer inserts the data...
I want to create stored procedure or something that checks if the machine is
standing still... i.o.w if a machine's hours is the same for any 3 hours in
the day thereafter (eg, Hr08, Hr09, Hr10) then the form has to popup a
dialog box that warns me that it has been the same, and if this is ok... if
it isn't ok, then it just has to popup another access form for me.... called
dc_machinehours_form_error
can anyone help me on this matter?
thanks alot in advance...
^-^
