In case anyone missed the postings to comp.lang.smalltalk
by and about Dynamic Consulting over the last few months,
here's a summary of what has been revealed thus far about
Dynamic Consulting. All numbers are approximate...

Mark van Gulik (me):
    $15,000 for Nov & Dec 1998
-I'm suing them. Lawsuit is well underway, court date is
     early August.
Nara:
    On Tuesday, August 17, 1999 1:42 PM, nara [SMTP:nara@netcom.com]

-dispute over rate taken by DCS.
-still (Aug 5/99) unpaid for May and June 1999 (the
June timesheets will not be submitted until May has
been paid). As explained above, Dynamic Consulting
has now disregarded another promise for desivering the
     May paycheck.

Sreenivasa Madenahally:
    $18,000 for Jan & Feb 1999
Christopher Boxall:
    $500 recent
Marcus H. Chen:
-victim of false claim of client acceptance of contract

Third person stories that were posted:

anonymous (ihatedcs@my-dejanews.com)
-current employee, complaint about medical insurance
J.D. Holmes
-on current project, a Dynamic Consulting contractor
left due to not being paid for a month
-a second Dynamic Consulting contractor was planning
to leave (same project) due to nonpayment (4/30/99)
Samuel S. Shuster
-has colleague owed "several thousand dollars" by DCS
    -unresolved as of 03/31/99

If anyone who posted one of these grievances has had a
change in their situation, please let me know as soon as
possible. Also, please let me know if these situations
are still *unresolved*, as I'd like to track these problems
accurately. This includes Dynamic Consulting, but I'm not
actually expecting them to so much as acknowledge or deny
any of these posters' grievances.

The only thing Dynamic Consulting has posted thus far in
response to these claims is (3/31/99):

>This is a completely false message created by somebody
>working for a competitor, in trying to cause problems
>because of an important deal going on. We are contacting
>our attorneys to take criminal action against this person/
>organization. It is really pathetic that these people are
>stooping to such lows, just to win some business.

After being prompted by an onlooker to clarify their position
(i.e., what aspect was false, that I (Mark van Gulik) worked for
them, that I excercised my 30 day breakout clause, or that
they owe me money), they instantly fell silent. Up to the start
of the lawsuit I had not been personally contacted by them. My
lawyer has since contacted them; the court date has been moved
once already to October 12th.

I will repost this message (suitably updated) each time I
observe Dynamic Consulting posting job openings.
