Description:   Kforce is looking for Oracle Database Administrators for its Sherman Oaks, California office. Qualified candidates must be able to define, design, and implement new Oracle application components or changes to existing software as well as administer and install Oracle database, install and configure Oracle Portal components, install and configure an Oracle AS database on SUN Solaris, IBM AIX and Windows, configure IBM AIX 5.2 for Oracle database installation, and improve Oracle reports performance using TOAD.  The Administrator will also design Oracle stored procedures using PL/SQL, develop the Oracle Portal using PDK, develop and implement integration and regression testing, and coordinate security.

Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Comm. Engineering or Mathematics, two years of experience in the position offered, or two years of working experience in the IT field.  Special requirements should include one year of experience with installing and configuring an Oracle AS database on SUN Solaris, IBM AIX, and Windows; PL/SQL; Oracle forms and reports; and Oracle stored procedures.
