Description:   The Judge Group is looking for a Jr. Level Oracle PL/SQL developer.  Ideally a qualified candidate will be a young, energetic developer (ie. recent college grad).  This person can be entry level but must have some work experience such as a co-op or internship.  This is a full time position and the maximum salary that this employer is willing to pay is $40,000.  Please only local candidates who are citizens or green card holders.

JOb Funtions:

1. Ability to trouble shoot user created traces and database server errors. 
2. Create additional table spaces as needed and optimize SQL code. 
3. Maintain existing and create new reports. 
4. Act as liaison between company and vendors. 
5. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel. 
6. Document internal customer system requests and procedures.
7. Maintain and create Packages, stored procedures and functions. 
8. Other duties as assigned by Management. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

Must have experience with stored procedures, triggers, functions

1. 1-3 years of Strong technical working knowledge/background, preferably familiarity with: Warehouse Management Systems; Unix Operating System - 2. HP-UX 9000; Validation Systems; and Oracle 8i, 9i, PL/SQL

3. Strong Communication skills (written and verbal).
4. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to successfully communicate complex or technical information to a variety of audiences (technical and non-technical).

6. Ability to work independently and effectively with a minimum of direct supervision.
