Description:   We have an immediate need for a Mid-Level Oracle Applications DBA. This position has potential to go perm after 6 months. In this role, you will be responsible for mission-critical Oracle applications. Installation, upgrade, patches, applications utilities, TAR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning and SYSADMIN function. Additionally, you will need to work well with production, support and development. This person will assist developers with logical database design and administration; design table layouts, indexes, and storage structures to provide optimal application design and performance. Duties included database creation, database tuning/reorganization, SQL statement tuning, general troubleshooting, and monitor and adjust the utilization, performance, backup/recovery and security of production database applications to ensure maximum availability and reliability; troubleshoot and correct common problems with the applications and databases assigned. You will need to be able to react as soon as something happens.  This person will be on call 24/7 and support a multi phase 11i CRM Implementation Project.

A minimum 3 years of the following is required: Oracle Application DBA experience in a commercial environment; SQL, E-Business Suite, Active Directory utilities and procedures. Current 11i Applications Financials/Self Services/CRM experience, using Benefits, is required: 401K, medical, and quarterly bonuses.
