I believe Oracle 6.0 1988-ish, long before CDs became popular for software
releases. Oracle 6 wasn't released on CD to the best of my knowledge, just 8MM
tape. Oracle didn't start releasing software on CDs until around the
early-to-mid 90s with version 7 -- the date on our earliest CD, version 7.1.6,
is 1995. If I recall correctly (it's been several years), Oracle 7.1.0 was an
8mm tape release in 92 or 93.

This isn't to say that you won't find someone at Oracle who can burn a CD for
you; I'm just saying that asking for anyone to look for a CD with it is not
going to yield the desired result in all likelihood. Now, some folks might
still have the 8mm tape around.
