For anybody looking for an ISDN adapter that works under
Win 98 and is plug and play then the following may be of some
interest.
We first tried the USR adapter. The drivers it comes with are
not compliant with W98 and the claims on the box about it being
furnished with fax, ftp and ansafone software are ambiguous to
say the least.
We then tried a PLANET adapter. It was cumbersome and the
software was poor quality by comparison.
Then we got the Billion product.... what a difference!!!
Would recommend it to anyone seriously wanting an ISDN line
to their PC... seeking troublefree installation and a great
s/ware
bundle for a cost of 39.95 GBP (pounds sterling).
Thanks to Billion also for their services!

Subject: Billion ISDN card...
Date: Wed, 27 Jan 1999 20:29:59 +0100
Dear Tim,
To let you have some feedback - you may remember we swapped
e-mails a few weeks hence regards the Billion ISDN cards.
As you advised l have found the card is fully compatible with W98
and installed in a flash - easily, and performs great!
We had initially tried both a USR and a PLANET ISDN adapter,
and neither would run under W98 at all.
Your's also comes with great software - is great value, and was
so
easy to successfully install that l found it incredible.
Please feel free to quote what l say to anyone else who might
call
you for information.
Thanks again,
