Description: 

A major telecommunications company south of San Francisco area is seeking
a Sr. Level Network Manager.  This dynamic and rapidly growing, innovative 
and progressive company has unlimited potential for growth.

The candidate will report directly to the IS Director,interface with all 
levels of management, clients and internal users. This position must 
evaluate and recommend the latest and most appropriate technologies, user 
needs and implement technology that allows access to multiple operating 
systems and network protocols from a single desktop workstation.  This 
position also evaluates and recommends which minicomputer hardware and 
software will be implemented at each users workstation,evaluating and
recommending all production systems in their data center.  You will be 
managing the group that evaluates,purchases,installs and maintains all 
LAN/WAN equipment. 

Preferred skills: Thorough understanding of: LAN/WAN technology, Network 
Protocols, Data Communications
