FOR SALE:Token Ring MAU (2 available): IBM 8228, $195
Token Ring MAU: Proteon ProNET-4, $195

From the current Data Comm Warehouse catalog 1-800-328-2261

IBM 8228 Multistation Access Units
*Connects up to eight devices
*Operates at 4 or 16 Mbps.

With this MAU from IBM, you can connect up to eight network devices to your
IBM Token Ring Network. Installing the MAU is easy, too. Just plug computer
cables into the MAU, connect the MAU to other 8228 or 8230 units, and form a
network. You can even connect the MAUs in series and support up to 260 systems
per Token Ring. The unit operates at 4 or 16 Mbps using copper cables and
requires no external power source.... $455

My price is $195 each. They're like-new and guaranteed.

I also have a Proteon ProNET-4 MAU for $195. I don't have the specs
handy for this unit.

Please call Alexander Lerman 9am-5pm PST at (415) 666-3333 to
order or inquire. Thanks for your attention.
