I am not familiar with Novell at all... This was supposed to be a straight
hardware swap without any configuration, except at the printers front panel.

The JetAdmin software wasn't seeing the printer and I don't know how to
determine the printers full Netware address. I know the MAC address of the
JetDirect card, but what is the other half of the address? The printer is
NOT listed in any list, configured or otherwise.

Well... it's Netware 3.12 and all the PC's do a DOS login. The JetAdmin
software is Windows based. Is this a problem?

Sounds pretty easy... just don't know how to tel JetAdmin what the address
of the printer is.

I don't understand why I need to configure anything though. It's a similar
model printer, the SAME JetDirect card - so the same MAC address. Why does
the network not think its the same printer? Were settings lost when the card
was removed from the first printer?

I REALLY appreciate your help. I understand a little more now that I have
read your message. Thank you very much!
