Token Ring MAU's: IBM 8228, $95 (5 AVAILABLE) Token Ring MAU: Proteon ProNET-4, $95 (1 AVAILABLE) From the current Data Comm Warehouse catalog (1-800-328-2261): --- IBM 8228 Multistation Access Units *Connects up to eight devices *Operates at 4 or 16 Mbps. With this MAU from IBM, you can connect up to eight network devices to your IBM Token Ring Network. Installing the MAU is easy, too. Just plug computer cables into the MAU, connect the MAU to other 8228 or 8230 units, and form a network. You can even connect the MAUs in series and support up to 260 systems per Token Ring. The unit operates at 4 or 16 Mbps using copper cables and requires no external power source.... $455. --- My price is $95 each. They look like new and they're guaranteed to work. I also have a Proteon ProNET-4 MAU for $95. I don't have the specs handy for this unit. Please call Alexander Lerman 9am-5pm PST at (415) 666-3333 to order or inquire. Thanks for your attention. -- Alexander Lerman <alerman@netcom.com> (415) 666-3333 voice
