It would be nice to know that deja.com keeps all newsgroups messages since
they came online and that no messages are deleted when more space is needed.
A curious question would be does deja.com go thru their data to delete a
msg that is canceled/deleted by the original poster..

Still, the point is that many people only get email via their places of
employment and do not have internet connection at home and it is unlikely
that the employers would grant employees a "newsgroup reading time" on
company time.
