Thanks for any | advice/suggestions. One thing I've done for various antenna and control wires to/from the outside is to drill the hole, run the wiring through, then plug the hole by hammering-in a cork from a wine bottle at both the inside and outside openings of the hole-through-the-wall. Don't laugh, it works! HOWEVER: please note the plastic jacket on cabling for 'net wiring is designed for indoor use only, and if it's outdoors it WILL deteriorate from exposure to UV (from sunlight), moisture, heat/cold, etc. What you'd want to use if you still want the wiring run outdoors is what's known as "plenum" wiring which has a durable jacket; probably the best would that with a Teflon jacket. For safety, wiring longevity, and [possibly] code compliance, I'd stick to inside wiring. If your ONLY path between the floors is the air ducts, then again you must choose plenum cabling. Another possibility is hiding most of the wire inside door frames, going through the floor(s), and in wall baseboards. See if you can follow the same path(s) as phone wiring. Thad
