Actually you can do this with a Linksys Router.. I know because I have 17 people at my appartment in the same Quake 3 server using my Linksys Router... Create a .bat file to execute the game. In the bat file include a differn't net port for each computer.. Hence each computer must go through a differnt net port while starting up the game.. Put this batch file in your QuakeIIIArena Directory. The only line needed in the batch file is...: (Copied out of mine) quake3.exe +set net_port 27660 +set sv_pure 0 Dont forget!!! Make a bat file for every PC that you wish to connect with, and give it a unique net port. example- 27660, 27661, 27662 so on so forth.. Works for me!! Our clan does it every day.. Hope this helps.
