Bell Canada ADSL... Sucks!

I was a cable modem user until I recently went to university in September. I
signed up for Bell Canada's ADSL service, and have regretted it since.

#1. Bell Sympatico lost my order TWICE
#2. It took 4 weeks to get my modem
#3. The service requires a patch... or else you can't get online
#4. The waits on the phone for service ARE LONG! 40+ mins.
#5. Upload speeds are SLOW

Now that I finally have ADSL service... it's reliability is non-exsistent. My
connection locks up every 5 - 10 minutes for 30 seconds or so. Furthermore, I
always though ADSL was a PERMANENT connection... but Sympatico has a stupid
access manager.

A little bit of advice for everyone wanting to get ADSL...

Sure get it...

If you want to get screwed over like me ; )

P.S. Until I used ADSL I thought Cable was bad... but now I realize how much
better it is.

P.S.S. Nothing beats POTS Modems!
