Plano is a big place. I think when you say "12/30/98" you may not be
referring to "all of Plano," but bits and pieces of Plano." For example, I
live in NW Plano, which was "supposed to be" rolled out 12/15/98." Now we
are part of the 12/30/98 rollout. Supposedly.

I talked to an installer on the street the other day who informed me it may
be "months" (with a big sigh.) So who knows *when/where* anyone in
particular's house in "Plano" may get installed.

Me too. I was like, a few thousand feet "unqualified" (ugh) for ADSL in my
area of Plano, and still have ISDN (which is not looking as good as it used
to for the $$.)

Personally, I may go out and buy a cheap 56.6 modem and save some money till
cable "finally" (I'll believe it when I see it) arrives. Paying $70 a month
to GTE and $30 to the ISP for ISDN just does not "get it" for me anymore.
