The last episode had me and my dad successfully registering online his new,
obtained through improper channels, RCA 235 modem. But that was as far as
it went. We couldn't get out to the net. Just the registration site.
Nada.

I think this was back on the 10th. On that day, Dad scheduled an ATT visit
to his house for the 22nd, today. He then left on an overseas trip. He got
back last night, and the ATT tech. did show up today. He powercycled the
modem, and Dad had connectivity to the internet. His email chocked on his
password, but the ATT tech. chatted on line with customer service and they
reset his password. Dad has been 'playing' ever since.

He was down for three weeks. Wonder if they'll give him six week credit.
<g>

Thanks for all that responded to my notes.

Sincerely,
Bruce
